For a number of years now I have sold electric walk behind buggies to both members and customers.

Most of the buggies were a nationally recognised brand and while I cannot speak highly enough of their after sales assistance, I was dismayed at the problems the buggies were having and the time consuming and sometimes costly process to rectify those problems.

After seeing the EMG Buggies and taking the time to become familiar with them I was impressed for a number of reasons.

As far as electric golf buggies go I'm sure the EMG Golf buggy is the best on the market.  I've owned 2 other golf buggies and this one is by far the most powerful and reliable.  My home course is in Cooroy, Qld which has it's hills and hollows but my buggy powers it's way up all the hills with ease (often giving me a little pull up as well) and being a country course sometimes the fairways are a little bumpy but my EMG buggy doesn't miss a beat. 

The way it folds up and stays in one piece makes it easier and quicker to get ready for that all important golf game and at the end of my game it goes back in the car ready for me to have my refreshments with ease.

I bought my buggy when I lived in Newcastle and found Shannon more than eager to help with any questions I had and was often calling me to see if I had any problems that he could help me with or any suggestions on how to improve this already great buggy.

Recently I needed a new wheel and after contacting Shannon he very quickly posted it to me, arriving within a couple of days, complete with detailed instructions on how to fit them.  I didn't even have to pay him in advance.  I paid for the parcel at the Post Office when I picked it up.  I know other companies wouldn't do that, in fact you usually have to send your buggy to them at your own expense."

I was using a motorised buggy from another company before using a buggy from EMG.

The after sales follow up I have received from the staff of EMG Buggies wanting to ensure the buggy meets my needs is well above the expected level. Dealing direct with the people who have built the product is an advantage as I have been able to communicate to them the excellent and reliable performance of the buggy while seeing it operate beside other brand buggies. This information helps them to enhance the performance of the buggy even though it is already known to be above the standard of other buggies. The simple motorised workings and connections are very easy for even the inexperienced user to understand. 

In total I have played over 100 games averaging 2 games a week with distance of each course ranging between 5500 – 6000 metres & have had no problems with it. Most of the courses I play on have steep hills to climb and the EMG buggy cruises up these elevations faster than I can walk. The buggy has the power to beat many other brands up hills from a standing start. 

The buggy is lightweight and very easy to unfold. Because the buggy remains in one piece and it is quick and easy to assemble with only 2 handle locks to move which holds your buggy in the upright position and in a short time you can be at the first tee ready to enjoy your game of golf.

Because the buggy has been so reliable it gives me confidence to play my game and helped me win championship events like my club championships, WGA State medal in Sydney, foursomes championships nett winner, mixed foursomes nett winner as well as other weekly events at my local club.

I have no hesitation in recommending the EMG icon as the performance of it that I have experienced together with the professional service I have received is well above my expectations and gives me peace of mind to enjoy my game.
